Maghsoud Farasatkhah

Maghsoud Farasatkhah is an Iranian sociologist who was born in Tabriz. His university education was in philosophy, theology and higher education planning. Farasatkhah teaches at Allameh Tabatabaei, Tehran, Shahid Beheshti and Islamic Azad Universities. He received the 18th award of popularization of sciences which was held on World Science Day. The jury Committee awarded Dr. Maghsoud Farasatkhah the prize for endless, responsible, purposeful, comprehensive, humanitarian, and ethical activities and efforts in academic and public areas for popularizing sociology knowledge and also his commitment to the continuity of cultural, promotional and scientific work.
